Sleeplessness: Patient's Casestudies
Mr.
S.S.D. (PIN Number L-9434) was a calm, smiling, polite person. He
presented sleeplessness for over two years. He also had chronic
urticaria.
He was in the business of wholesale trading of commodities. He stayed with his wife and son. He was under lot of stress regarding his business since last two years. There were incidences of cheating, issues of untimely payments, uncertainties about the future, etc. He would keep thinking of all these issues, and so would remain awake for two to three hours, engrossed in thoughts. He rarely got angry, but if he would be angry, it would be very intense, but for a short while. He had a craving for salty and spicy food. He had an aversion for sweets. He could not tolerate winters and air conditioners. He was thermally chilly. He was a known hypertensive and his blood pressure was well controlled with conventional anti –hypertensive medicines. He had tried sedatives, but they left him feeling drowsy the next day. So he opted for Homeopathy. Dr. Shah studied his case details and prescribed a research remedy, which helped the sleep.
